Uskudar University was founded in 2011 by NP group corporation, which provides medical services in the fields of neurology, psychiatry and psychology, including the establishment of Turkey’s first neuro-psychiatric hospital and advanced research in neuroimaging, pharmacogenetics and brain stimulation. At present, the university has 86 student clubs of various orientations, including scientific, social, cultural and sports clubs. For example, students can join clubs such as Education and Research club, Journalism club, Analytical thinking club and Bioengineering club. Uskudar University does not have its own dormitories, but it has contracts with seven private dormitories in Istanbul that are in close proximity to the university campuses. For example, the women’s student dormitory is only 200 meters from the Nakkaştepe campus and has a capacity of 72 students. Students can stay in rooms for two, three, four and five people.
