About Topkapi University

Founded in 2009, Topkapı University has more than 15,000 active students. It includes five faculties, one institute and a professional school, which are located on six university campuses in the districts of Kazlıçeşme, Altunizade, Balat, Levent, Şişli and Yenibosna. Students are assigned to Topkapı University campuses depending on their program and level of study. Each campus is integrated into the urban environment of Istanbul and contributes to the all-round development and well-being of the students. For example, Topkapi University has an entrepreneurship center and an internship and career development center. The Entrepreneurship Office is open to students in the design and software fields, giving them the opportunity to plan their careers before graduation and keep abreast of the latest technologies. The Internship and Career Center connects theoretical knowledge with practical experience, for example, the university has developed a partnership with Doğa Hospital Complex for medical students. In addition, in order to expand global opportunities for its students, Topkapı University has established partnerships within the Erasmus program and bilateral agreements with numerous universities around the world.

To enhance research, Topkapı University has a library on the Balat Campus with more than 35,000 printed books and more than 2,802,384 e-books. In addition, all university libraries have group study rooms and reading rooms.

Kazlıçeşme Campus is designed for vocational school students and students of engineering and economic, administrative and social sciences, covering an area of 50,000 m². The Balat Campus, located in the central part of the city, offers students of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture the opportunity to realize their full potential. The Levent Campus, designed for the Faculty of Sports Sciences, has extensive sports facilities.
