About Medipol University

Istanbul Medipol University is a private institution founded in 2009, renowned for its extensive range of medical programs and international presence. In addition to its Schools of International Medicine, Medicine, and Health Sciences, the university offers programs in engineering, business, arts, and social sciences, totaling 183 undergraduate and 94 graduate programs. Its three campuses, located on the Asian and European sides of Istanbul, attract over 45,000 students from more than 140 countries.

Medipol University also owns and operates the Medipol Mega Hospitals Complex—Turkey’s largest private health investment—which serves as a university hospital with facilities dedicated to General Medicine, Cardiovascular Surgery, Oncology, and Dentistry. This allows students to gain hands-on experience in a hospital renowned for its modern, advanced technology, including some of the most advanced surgical robots in Turkey.

Admission Requirements of Medipol University

All applicants need to have:

  • Language Proficiency Certificate Such as TOEFL for English programs or
  • TÖMER for Turkish programs

Accommodation at Medipol University

Medipol University provides on-campus accommodation exclusively at its Kavacık Campus. However, thanks to its central location, students studying at the Haliç Campus—home to the College of Health Sciences—can easily find private dormitories, as the district hosts many public and private universities.

 The dormitories at the Kavacık Campus are equipped with modern technological infrastructure and comfortable living spaces to best meet students’ needs. The Kavacık Campus is divided into North and South sections, with the South Campus accommodating all undergraduate and graduate programs. In addition, the campus offers a range of facilities including conference halls, a library, dining halls, a shopping center, coffee shops, restaurants, research centers, and laboratories. The North Campus hosts a Language School and some programs of the Vocational Schools. The dormitories feature various room types along with amenities such as a fitness center, cafeterias, and study rooms.
