Istanbul Galata University was founded in 2020 and is located in the heart of the historical and cultural part of Istanbul, which gives the learning process a unique atmosphere. The university has about 2000 students, among which 600 are international students. Galata University offers education in five faculties, one professional school and a postgraduate institute. Galata has two campuses in the European part of Istanbul, which provides convenience and accessibility for students. In addition, the university has its own dental hospital where students can receive practical skills needed for their future profession. Galata University prepares students not only for a successful career through the career center, but also actively supports their participation in research. For this purpose, the university has four research centers: the Oral and Dental Health Application and Research Center, the Continuing Education Application and Research Center (SEM), the Distance Education Application and Research Center (UZEM), and the Turkish Language Teaching Application and Research Center (TÖMER). These centers play a key role in developing students’ academic and professional skills.
Istanbul Galata University organizes its educational activities based on the unique “4S 1T” formula, which includes five key areas: Arts, Social Sciences, Health, Sports and Technology.
