Founded in 2008 by the Altinbas family, Altinbas University is a private-owned institution located in Istanbul. With diverse academic programs, students have the opportunity to choose from 9 faculties, 1 institute of postgraduate studies and 2 vocational schools. The university provides a wide range of Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degree programmes in Turkish and English, attracting students from more than 101 countries. The university further empowers students to learn in locations all over the world through its extensive network of 140 exchange agreements with educational institutions across 50 countries. Altinbas University’s 3 campuses are home to 13 research centers, each dedicated to advancing the academic mission through research, study, collaboration, and innovative thinking. Among these centers are the Center for Marketing and Neuro-Marketing, Center for Social and Economic Research, and Center for Oral and Dental Health. Located in Mahmutbey, the Engineering & Technology Hub, Altinbas University’s main campus with the majority of academic subjects is complemented by two campuses in Gayrettepe, the Management & Social Sciences Hub, and Bakirkoy, the Health Sciences hub. Dorms are located in Mahmutbey Campus and designed to provide clean, safe, comfortable accommodation with its 7/24 security and available staff. Cleaning services, laundry, gym and even music room are all free of charge. Students can also choose a meal plan including three courses in a day during their stay or cook their own meals at the common kitchen area. Altınbaş University has 53 active student clubs that enable students to socialize and encourage their spirit of solidarity such as TEDxAltınbaş Club, Erasmus Club, Gender Equality Club, Robotics Club, Sailing Club and many more.

What documents are required to apply/register at a Turkish university?

To apply/register to Turkish universities, you need to provide the following documents:

  • High School Diploma and Transcript of Grades: Both original and translated copies. Either a transcript or a diploma is required at the time of initial application.
  • Valid Passport Copy: A clear and valid copy of your passport.
